How to Put All Your Social Media in One QR Code
· 5 min read · generate-qr.cc
You have Instagram, a Facebook page, maybe TikTok, a WhatsApp number for orders and a website. Printing five QR codes on a flyer or a table sign looks messy, and people will scan one at most. The better option is a single QR code that opens a small page with a button for each profile.
How a multi-profile QR code works
A normal QR code can only contain one link. To offer several profiles, the code points to a short mobile page instead. When someone scans it, they see your logo, your name and one big button per network, and they tap the one they use.
- One printed code instead of five, so your design stays clean.
- People choose the network they actually use, so you get more follows.
- You can add, remove or reorder profiles later without reprinting.
- With analytics you see which button people tap most.
One profile or several?
If one network matters far more than the others, for example Instagram for a café, a code that opens that profile directly is simpler: one scan and they are in the app. Our Instagram QR code generator does exactly that. Use a multi-profile page when your audience is split across networks, or when you also want to offer WhatsApp, your website or directions.
| Situation | Best choice |
|---|---|
| Café or shop that lives on Instagram | Single Instagram code |
| Creator on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram | Multi-profile page |
| Restaurant with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp orders | Multi-profile page |
| Business card or CV | LinkedIn code or a vCard |
How to create one, step by step
- Open the social media QR code generator and paste your first profile link.
- Click “Add more profiles” and create a free account. What you entered is kept.
- Add each network: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, your website, email, phone or location. Use the arrows to put the most important one first.
- Add your name, a short description and your logo, then pick a style: light, dark or colour.
- Check the live phone preview, save, and download the QR code as PNG or SVG.
Put the network you care about most at the top. Most people tap the first button.
Tips for getting more follows
- Tell people what they get. A frame with “Follow us for daily specials” works better than a bare code.
- Print it big enough. On a table sign, 3–5 cm is a good size. See our QR code size guide.
- Use your own button text. “Order on WhatsApp” or “Book a table” beats a plain “WhatsApp”.
- Check the numbers after a month. If nobody taps a network, remove it to keep the page short.
What about “link in bio” tools?
Link-in-bio services do something similar for your Instagram bio. The difference here is that the QR code, the design and the page come from one place, the code never switches off if you stop paying, and you can see scans and taps for the printed code itself. If you want a general page with any links rather than social profiles, use a link page QR code.
